Chameleon IN Platform
The Chameleon IN platform is an Intelligent Network platform that can be deployed in a variety of configurations to peform service logic and control in a network or to allow external elements to access the ss7 network.
It can be deployed as a stand-alone SCP, a signalling relay element in a network, or as an access gateway.
Unlike tradiitional IN platforms, the Chameleon platform is designed to be open and flexible and is a popular choice for network operators requiring complex services that are deployed cost-effectively and that can interoperate with a wide range of switching platforms and vendors.
With it's own Service Logic Execution Environment and a graphical drap and drop Service Creation Environment, the Chameleon platform allows users to
- Deploy IN services like Local and Mobile Number Portability, Free Phone number translation, Black and White Lists, Network Announcements, Voicemail and Location based service
- Resolve interoperability issues between switching platforms from Alcatel, Siemens, Nokia, Cisco, Telcordia, Ericsson and many others
- Integrate SIP based network elements like IVR's and softswitches to use a single set of service logic and contol
- Offer complex call centre based functionality via integration to the Genesys network-based call centre routing product
